Haiti Relief Container Project!
Mad City Church is participating with several local churches and Youth With A
Mission (YWAM) Madison to ship a container of relief supplies to Haiti. Terry
Snow, National Director-YWAM Haiti, is coordinating efforts in St. Marc to
initially house and feed up to 6000 refugees. The needs include: canned
or bulk food items, rice, beans, cooking oil, tomato paste, spaghetti/pasta,
soap, charcoal, generators, work lights, tarps, tents, tin roofing material.
Collections will begin Sunday, January 24, in specially marked containers
located in the fellowship area. To cover shipping costs and the purchase
of some items, tax-deductible contributions can be made via check to
"YWAM Madison" with "Haiti" on memo line; or go to www.ywammadison.org and
click on the "donate" tab to use a credit card. Checks can be put in
the Mad City giving boxes and we will forward them to YWAM. For more
